HSL delivers floating crane to VPA a week ahead

Visakhapatnam Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has achieved another milestone by delivering the floating crane ‘FC Hanuman’ to the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) a week ahead of schedule.

The crane, originally entrusted to HSL for refitting, required the renewal of 90 tonnes of steel on the vintage equipment that has served VPA since 1972. This achievement underscores the strong collaboration between these closely located public sector entities, a HSL release stated.
